Clear Aligners Tracker does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All your information stays on your device.

1. Overview

Clear Aligners Tracker ("the App") is a personal dental aligner wear-time tracking application developed by Rowix ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

Treatment plan details — total trays, days per tray, start date, and daily wear goal (entered by you during setup)
Wear session data — timestamps of when you start and stop wearing your aligners
Daily wear records — aggregated daily statistics retained for up to 90 days
App preferences — appearance mode (light/dark/system) and notification settings
Subscription status — managed by Apple (StoreKit) or Google (Play Billing); we do not process or store payment information

3. Health and Fitness Data

The App tracks and stores health and fitness related data, specifically your daily aligner wear time and treatment progress. This data is:

Stored locally on your device only
Never transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party
Never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other entity
Never used for analytics, profiling, or advertising purposes
Fully under your control — you can delete all health data at any time using the "Reset Treatment" feature in Settings, or by uninstalling the App

We do not access, read, or connect to any platform health services (such as Apple Health or Google Health Connect). All health-related data is generated and stored exclusively within the App on your device.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using platform-standard storage (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android). No data is transmitted to external servers, cloud services, or third parties. We do not operate any backend servers for this App.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone. Since all data remains on your device, no third parties have access to your information. The App does not contain any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party components:

Lottie (by Airbnb) — used solely for rendering animations within the App. Lottie does not collect any user data.
Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing — used to manage in-app subscriptions. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment details.

7. Notifications

The App may send local notifications (tray change reminders, wear-time alerts, dental cleaning reminders) if you grant permission. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the App is safe for users of all ages. Subscriptions require parental approval for minors as enforced by Apple and Google.

9. Data Retention

Wear session history is retained on your device for up to 90 days, after which older records are automatically removed. You can delete all data at any time by using the "Reset Treatment" feature in the App's Settings, or by deleting the App from your device.

10. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. All data is under your control on your device. Deleting the App removes all associated data.

11. Medical Disclaimer

Clear Aligners Tracker is a personal tracking tool only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your orthodontist or dental professional for medical guidance regarding your aligner treatment.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App and on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
